TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservation and payment
When booking your holiday directly with All DAY tours and Safaris or with your travel agent, please indicate your tour preference among our options, intended date of arrival and departure, number of people to be catered for, sleeping arrangements and flight details, if known. This helps us in ensuring that our arrangements are concise and to your satisfaction. If you are interested in Gorilla trekking it is important to note that a minimum of three months advance booking is required to enable us secure your permits. Children under 15 years are not allowed to trek Gorillas where as those under 12 are not allowed to track Chimpanzees.
For any bookings a 50% deposit is required 16 weeks before intended departure or time of booking with the balance settled 30 days prior to commencement of the tour. All Day Tours and Safaris will receipt your money thereby confirm your safari. If your reservation is made within 30 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation
Full refund will be made if a cancellation notification is received within 60 days of the booking and prior to the commencement of the safari. Refund on prepaid money will be subject to cancellation fees levied by the hotel, lodges and the banks. A 50% cancellation charge will be imposed on all cancellations done within 10-30 days prior to travel, 75% within 3-20 days, 100% charge within 48 hours. We reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from any money paid. Gorilla permits are not refundable.
Alteration of Tour
The right is reserved to alter any route arrangement, to cancel the operation of any schedule tour should the conditions necessitate if that happens you shall be notified as early as may be practical. We also reserve the right to decline, accept or retain any member of the tour at any time. Should you fail to join a tour, join it after departure or leave prior to completion, no tour fare refund will be made.
Transfer of booking
In the event that your are un able to travel due to extraordinary circumstances, we may transfer your booking to another party provided the arrangements remain the same and if suppliers (hotels, lodges etc) are all ready to accept the transfer. Gorilla permits are transferable in some instances.
Mode of payment
All payments are quoted in US dollars. Payment may be by cash or traveler’s cheques to All Day Tours and Safaris.Foreing currency cheques, TC’s and payment by credit card may be accepted subject to bank charges at the prevailing rate, based on local currency can be accepted at the current dollar buying rate. Cheques and TC’S may incur manager’s discretion service charge. Payment may be done in advance by bank transfer, Western Union, money gram if the agency is sent on E-mail we can advise on the best method to use.
Transport
Mode of transport used will depend on number of clients and the route taken based on the specification of the chosen itinerary. We use fully trained and English speaking drivers/guides.
Accommodation
Accommodation is based on twin bedded rooms or tents with private bathrooms where possible. Single rooms may be available with the payment of a supplement fee but cannot always be guaranteed. Some facilities have available double beds on request.
Tour Price
The price we quote is inclusive of all transportation as per the itinerary, park entrance fees, permits where applicable, drivers allowance and third party insurance. The amount is not inclusive of accommodation while in Kampala, traveler (which should be purchased individually), local airport departure tax, visa fees, tips, sodas and alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry and other personal expenses.
Travel Insurance
You are advised to buy travel insurance before you come to Uganda, but local evacuation coverage is available in the unlikely event of a medical emergency during the tour. Please request this at the time of booking.
Liability
All bookings are accepted on the specific conditions that All Day Tours and Safaris and her agents act only as agents of passengers in all matters relating to HOTEL/lodge accommodations, tours, transport, etc. We shall not be liable for injury, delay, loss or damage in any manner whatsoever. All Day Tours and Safari reserves the right to employ subcontractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied. Respective laws of the country govern All Day Tours and Safari’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises. Finally, whilst every action is taken, All Day Tours and Safaris cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage.
Complaints/Refund
If the client has a complaint/refund query about any respect of his/her holiday it should be reported immediately to All Day Tours and Safaris local representative in the country who will resolve the matter during the safari. If the problem is not solved to the clients satisfaction any further complaint/refund query should be made by the client in writing to All Day Tours and Safaris not later than 30 days following completion the holiday. Failure to do this, no claim may be brought against All Day Tours and Safaris. There will be no refund on unutilized services.
Viewing Animals
When viewing animals, please be advised that there are no guarantees. It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat, but keep a safe distance while taking photographs. A gorilla permit guarantees you will trek gorillas after payment to their location but does not guarantee that the gorillas will be in plain sight.
