MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK,KIBALE NATIONAL PARK,QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK AND LAKE MBURO (9 days)

Day 1:Meet and greet at respective accommodations then drive north west through Luwero stopping over in Masindi town for Lunch then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park(MFNP).Should you opt to stay at Paraa then spend the rest of the day relaxing at the swimming pool/visit the top of the falls.

Day 2:Early morning game drive on the tracks your experienced guide will choose to see game which includes giraffe, antelope, lion, elephant, Uganda Kob and many more. The afternoon will be for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, hippos and crocodiles are abundant here, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and a variety of birds e.g. herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, fish eagles, kingfishers will be seen and if lucky the shoebill. Actually this is one of the highlights of MFNP.

Day 3:We drive all day south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and firms. Fortportal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the moon.

Day 4:We shall do a full day search of Chimpanzees and other primates living in the forest. The guide provides detailed explanations on primates, forest flora and fauna. This walk is both informative and enjoyable.

Day 5:We proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the Rwenzori Range. A game drive en-route may enable us see lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo and a variety of other animals. A two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga channel into L.Edward will be done in the evening. There is abundant bird life here.

Day 6: We do two game drives today. Queen Elizabeth National Park has diverse Eco-systems of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters and is the home of different species of wildlife. It will provide you an opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, and defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and Bushbuck.

Day 7:We either visit L.Katwe Salt works where salt is mined using old centuries traditional methods or visit Maramagambo forest that offers you a chance to experience a tropical rain forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates including chimpanzee. While here you can also visit the bats cave and the “blue lake” and then proceed on to Lake Mburo with a stop over in Mbarara for Lunch.

Day 8:After breakfast we use the kazuma track which passes through wooded grassland,-black-bellied bustards often patrol the area. This track takes us to Kazuma hill-in order to experience a real exposure to Lake Mburo National Park. This will enable you see all five lakes within the park and rolling hills. In the afternoon we go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo.The lake is rich with a diversity of animal and plant species which are only clearly viewed while on a boat-crocodiles, hippopotami and birds like pelicans, black crake, Heron. The boat takes 2 hours .

Day 9:After breakfast a nature walk will be done to enable you admire nature under the escort of an armed ranger guide and will be climaxed by a walk to the nearby salt lick which will offer you a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one time as they lick the salty soil.

Return to Kampala early afternoon.

Price includes transport to and from Kampala, Park entrance fees, game drive fees, boat ride on the Nile, Kazinga Channel and Lake Mburo, accommodation on full board and an English speaking driver (guide), lunch to and from, Chimp tracking fees, nature walking fees. It however excludes beverages, souvenirs, tips and all expenditures of a personal nature.
