TREKK ELGON WITH US
Mt.Elgon is an extinct volcano. Hiking this mountain presents you with an opportunity to see different yet unique flora and fauna, waterfalls, caves, peaks and gorges as well as hot springs. Hiking this mountain is better during the dry months of June –August and December-March though takes place the whole year. You do not have to be experienced to climb the Mountain.
Day 1:We meet and greet at hotel then drive on to Mbale through Jinja town.
Dinner and Over night in Mbale
Day 2:Park entry clearance and then we begin climbing the mountain.
Overnight at Mude cave camp.
Day 3:Today you climb over Jackson’s pool before making it to the Wagagai peak (4321m) or Jackson’s peak (4165m).
Overnight at Mude Camp.
Day 4:Visit the Caldera with collapsed peaks on top of the Mountain then descend to spend the night either at Kagyenyi Camp or any other camp depending on the guide.
Day 5:You hike to the hot springs and descend Suam gorge and descend on to spend the night at Mude Camp
Day 6:The descent today may be via the Sasa trail or Piswa trail.
Dinner and Overnight at Volcanoe Camp
Day 7:We visit Sipi falls before going on to Bujagali falls.
Dinner and overnight in Jinja.
Day 8:Whole day rafting on the Nile driving back to Kampala in the evening.

For trekking you need to carry along a tent, sleeping bag, warm clothes/gloves/hat, sturdy hiking shoes, flash light, water bottle, rain gear and first aid kit.
Price includes 6 nights accommodation and meals on food board, park entrance fees, hiking fees, porter’s fees, rescue fees transport in a 4 by 4 WD with fuel and driver/guide. It however excludes drinks, personal insurance and any other expenditure of a personal nature.
